Manuel Herranz: Working for the language industry since 1993, I have specialised in technical, engineering and marketing solutions. I have walked most avenues the Translation Industry has to offer, from pre-CAT tools and working with a 386 PC to the development of statistical and hybrid machine translation systems. I'm a keen researcher: my next objective is how to implement neural networks and deep learning to MT. I spent some years as a consultant to engineering and automotive firms and working specifically for the Japanese electronics industry before Pangeanic became an independent brand in 2004. I am a firm believer in translation automation.
